Our community, our commitment

In Stevens Point and throughout Portage County, I believe leadership starts with showing up. This page highlights my active involvement in civic engagement and community service efforts, designed to strengthen local participation and connection. Discover how I work year-round to build a stronger, more connected community.

Ensuring fair elections and civic participation

As a Wisconsin Certified Municipal Clerk and Chief of Elections in the Town of Hull, I regularly work with residents to ensure fair, accessible elections and encourage civic participation. Beyond the technical responsibilities of the role, I’ve made it a priority to mentor and recruit young adults to become involved in public service — including election work and volunteer emergency services.

Mentoring youth and building leadership

I have also previously coached youth volleyball, which allowed me to mentor young students, build confidence, and promote teamwork and leadership skills outside of the classroom. In addition, I attend local meetings, community events, and public forums to stay engaged with residents and understand the issues directly impacting families in Stevens Point and across Portage County.

Consistent involvement for a stronger community

Community involvement isn’t something I turn on during election season — it’s part of who I am. Whether it’s supporting civic education, encouraging volunteerism, or helping residents navigate local government, I believe strong communities are built through consistent, hands-on involvement. If my involvement helps even one person feel more connected to their local government or more motivated to serve, then I know I’m making a meaningful difference.

"I show up. I do the work. And I take the responsibility seriously."
